For the past week, I have been approached by members of the church 3 times about christianity. Every time I talke to them. Maybe I have some sort of aura, or something written on my forehead suggesting them that I want to convert. haha. I don't have any problem with people coming to me about their religion, it is their right. And they respect me if I don't want to hear it. The problem is nobody from my religion approached me to preach about my religion. I guess they think I don't have a problem. That is what irritating me. Other religion will come to you offering you many benefits (yes they will) but my own religion doesn't care about me.
Most of the people I talked to came from Yes** yout* g**op. Talking with an accent with fair skin blond hair I suspect they came from australia(a chance t o practice my english). most probably the fundinng for them to stay here comes from australia tooo. who knows. A question comes into my mind, where are the Islam preacher? stalking churches to catch people converting? lurking in budget motels finding couple having sex? All I know they are just not here. Now is the time where there are many disbeliever and all theey do is sit in their offices. They tackle the problem not at the roots but at the ends. I guess that is a government motto. Wait until they have done something and catch them but not preventing them. In my opinion it is better to tackle the problem at the very bases. Approach us, preach us. Stop spending time finding sinners and start investing time shaping a good ummah.

How easy it is to hack a wifi - WEP vulnerability
So what do you do when you are bored? Me, I'll start fixing stuff. The problem in my house is that the internet is tpp darn slow. While searching the net I accidentally(wink2) found a way to hack other people's wifi. I did this to experience
1. Is all internet in Malaysia that slow?
No, basicly only private internet line are slow, commercial ones are fast.
2. Is it hard?
No, a programme actually simplify it.
Now, this post is not intended to suggest to you to do something illegal. Knowledge is power, knowing how to crack a safe does not mean that you have to crack one. This post is to suggest that if your internet is too slow. maybe there is someone piggybacking on your wifi modem. Usually a very unstable wifi (easily disconnected) suggest someone is acessing your wifi.
What you will need:
• USB WiFi Adapter
• USB cable
• High Gain antenna
• A backtrack like software in a CD
Insert CD to you CD Rom, restart your computer and boot the CD Rom (just like when you format computer to install windows, boot the CD). After boot the CD, you will be in below screen, please follow below screenshoot.
STEP1
STEP2
STEP3
STEP4
STEP5
STEP6
- Choose the attacks parameters, by default is ARP REPLY ATTACK.
- Click the DEAUTH to attack client can speed up the crack process.
STEP7
STEP8
After all that hard worl you get the password, unfortunately all my effort was worthless because my neighbour uses 0123456789 as his password. I did thoudh crack a mamak restaurant wifi 2.6km away(one of perks of having a wifi booster), a school wifi 1.9km away.

4th year medical books
So, I did a mistake. I was asked to recommend books for 4th year but instead I wrote about 3rd year books. My bad. So, 4th year is when you start your cycles (or posting). Mainly we used lecture materials but these are some of the books that I liked.
1. Obstetric
I mainly read a photostate copy of a translated ukrainian book. It fits the russian curriculum but most of the treatment are bizarre (acc to western standards).
Also, Obstetric by dutta is also helpful. However, my experience is, no matter how much book you read, it wont be enough for the teachers. I don't know where you can find the pdf version of the books.
Supplementary books :
Obstetric and gynaecology at a glance
A very good book. Equipped with many pictures. Plus you can use it during Gynae cycle on 5th year
http://www.4shared.com/document/bsApcIdG/OBSTETRICS_AND_GYNECOLOGY_AT_A.htm
акушерство айламазян
If you have the time, you can start preparing for the state exam. This book is very good unfortunately, I just can't find the time to read it.
http://www.booksmed.com/akuwerstvo/27-akusherstvo-uchebnik-dlya-medicinskix-vuzov.html
2. Neurology
I actually love neurology but I was not inspired. Main source of information are lectures. So try asking the seniors for their notes. Some lectures are very interesting (if given by the right person) , some are just lullaby. Books that I read and personally recommend is Neurology and neurosurgery ilustrated (by the title you can guess why I loved this book - the word ilustrated), unfortunately I don't have the link for you to skim through the book.
Supplementarry books :
Mayo clinic, essential neurology
http://www.4shared.com/document/XXB7j8qb/Mayo_Clinic_Essential_Neurolog.htm
3. Ear, nose and throat
Lecture materials are important, notes from seniors and for textbook.
ENT by dhingra is mostly used. Buy it from your frien in India, it is cheaper.
http://www.4shared.com/document/zR6pTEtK/Diseases_of_Ear_Nose_and_Throa.htm
4. Opthalmology
Lecture materials are important. If I am not mistaken, the library have some books but I think it is better use for revision. For textbook find Opthalmology by khurana. Quite easy to understand. Plus with each purchase you are give a small pocketbook.
http://www.4shared.com/document/LfEF7z-C/Khurana_ophthal.htm
supplementary books :
Color atlas of opthalmology
http://www.4shared.com/document/Ngrp-MRU/Color_Atlas_Of_Ophthalmology.htm
5. Pediatrics
Lecture materials are useful I guess. I usually read russian textbook as the exam will be a state exam (meaning in russian)
For pediatrics :
http://www.booksmed.com/pediatriya/34-pediatriya-uchebnik-dlya-medicinskix-vuzov.html
For infectious diseases of children :
http://www.booksmed.com/infekcionnye-bolezni/45-infekcionnye-bolezni-u-detej-timchenko.html
supplementary book :
Pediatric protocols in malaysia
6. Dermatology
Notes are from lectures but I suggest you learn dermatology by looking at pictures.
Fitzpatrick colour atlas and synopsis of dermatology
http://www.4shared.com/document/S5KBhk-D/Fitzpatricks_Color_Atlas_and_S.htm
7. Internal medicine
Basicly are the same topic from last year with added criteria for diagnosis and treatment. The lecture note are from Kumar & Clark with some additional notes. Most malaysian student have Harrisonns. These books are good but they lack the treatment part of it. I supplemented the information froom lectures with Merck manual (you can get in in iphone). I suggest you get a physical examination book. I used MacLeods (you can find the link on 3rd year medical book post). Most student studying in Malaysia use Tally's PE.
8. Surgery
Mainly I use lecture notes. Many students have Bailey's.
Supplementary books:
http://www.booksmed.com/hirurgiya/168-xirurgicheskie-bolezni-kuzin-uchebnik.html
A good book, lack pictures thoough.
Note : I do not host these files and should not be held reliable for any problems. They are intended to be as a sample. If you like it, buy it
sigh, I pity the ones who read my blog

3nd year medical books - a review
I hated my 3rd year of education. It was hell and I only remembered scraps from what I learned. If I was given the chance, I would not sleep and only study during my 3rd year (don't worry, I laughed at myself too). So this are some of the book that I have managed to read and would recommend.
Pathological anatomy
1. Textbook of pathology by Harsh Mohan
For a textbook written in India, it was really simple to understand with a lot of pictures (something you would rarely see in a russian textbook). I seriouly recomend this book you will use it even after you have passed your pat anat exam.
http://www.filesonic.com/file/1624266184/Textbook%20of%20Pathology-%20Harsh%20Mohan.chm
2. Robins basic pathology
I personally never read this book but most of my friend studying in Malaysia use this book
part 1: http://www.filesonic.com/file/1430515274/Robins%20pathology.part1.rar
part 2:
http://www.filesonic.com/file/1430515194/Robins%20pathology.part2.rar
Pharmacology
Basicly the textbook given by the university is enough but if you have the time I recommend you read these books.
1. Lippincott's Ilustrated review : pharmacology
I like pictures (full stop) This books have lots of them.
http://www.filesonic.com/file/1482739361/Lippincott_s_Illustrated_Reviews__Pharmacology__4th_Edition_.chm
2. Katzung and trevor pharmacology review
What I like about this books that it a Q&A part. A very good book.
http://www.filesonic.com/file/1483147751/Katzung.chm
Internal medicine
Basicly you have to eat, sleep with the book given by the university. Clinical examination is usually taught by the teachers. My experience is that it is not enough, so I recommend you read:
1. Macleod's Clinical Examination: 12th Edition
I first saw this book while doing practical in Malaysia. Most of manipal student's carry this book in the ward. I have skimmed through it and regret that have not known it sooner. Other universities in malaysia uses different book but I guess this is enough.
http://www.filesonic.com/file/1426418924/Macleoid.rar
Surgery
Well, I can't help you here. I actually have no idea what I learned during surgery and basicly caused me to be "complimented" (sigh) during my practical in Malaysia.
Note : I do not host these files and should not be held reliable for any problems. They are intended to be as a sample. If you like it, buy it

My first..... MRCP book
I know it will be along time before I can even think about taking MRCP but I guess it is useful for the final. What I like about the book is its cover (kidding). Well the book explain the problems well, with simple language that even a medical student from Russia can understand. Of course the book does not have enough depth to cover all the main question in MRCP exam but what it has successfully achieved is to show an overview of what to expect and what to do if you a given an MRCP like question. Highly recommended to jumpstart your study for finals/MRCP
look how cute the book is :)

How to download torrent using an ipad 2 - without jailbreak
I am sure there are many ways out there to download torrents ( and I have tried some), but for me though my way is slightly complicated (once you know, it is simple). This way is also great if you live a country like Malaysia, where the so called broadband is as slow as a dial-up. Coming back from Russia (where I can dowload torrent up to 700-900kbps) it is frustating to see downloads in Malaysia (a maximum of 15kbps). I thanked the Malaysia government which campaigned 1 house 1 broadband but allowing a government company to monopolize the market, making it non competitive.
1st step (you can use an ipad/ computer in this part)
You need to sign up with torrific (which is free). Just go to www.torrific.com and sign up. It is important to give an actual email because the will send email notification to this email. Then verify the email and log in. Don't close this tab
2nd step (ipad/computer)
Open a new tab and go to your favourite torrent site. Mine is www.isohunt.com . Find the torrent you want, click on it, where it say "download .torrent" right click (or if you use ipad touch it until a popup comes out) and copy the link.
3rd step (ipad/computer)
Open back the torrific tab, and go to home. Immediately you will see a place to paste your link (look like a search column) and click "get". Then a page appear asking you to "initiate bittorent transmission". Click it, and depend on the size of the file, you have to wait a few minute for the file to be downloaded into the server. When it is finished, it will send a notification to your email. While waiting you can do step 4.
4th step (ipad only)
Download an app called Filer which you get from appstore / installous.
5th step (ipad only)
Once there is an email notification saying your torrent have been downloaded, click it (and if needed log in). It will show the torrent that you have downloaded, pick the one you want and it will open another page. You will see the torrent already downloaded (basicly a file with .wmv,.avi,.mp4), touch it for a while until a popup comes on your ipad and pick copy. Paste on the filer and press enter and it will start downloading
6th step - watch the movie you have downloaded. So, if you have downloaded a file which ipad have not supported, at the upper right corner of the ipad there is a button to transfer your file to another app (how cool is that?), so I use AVplayerHD
So if I download torrent directly, in any other country it will be faster but in malaysia I suggest you use this method.Because malaysia has limit the speed of torrennt, so direct downloading is the choice. I get an average of 110kbps (not as fast as russia but 10x better than using a microtorrent)
That's my way... if you have other method please share
